NetIP NA and NetIP Chicago, in partnership, are happy to announce our participation in NetIP NA’s national initiative, Charity is Colorblind (CiC). The CiC campaign promotes our fervent vision of Empowering Education and Building a Future.
This year's beneficiaries are:

Chicago Public Schools (CPS)
The Network of Indian Professionals Foundation (“NetIP Foundation”) is honored to announce its inaugural offering of the 2012 NetIP Foundation First Annual Scholarship, which will be awarded to an individual who embodies this mission: To promote leadership and service to benefit the community. At this year's conference, all our attendees will two great chances to support the Charity is Colorblind campaign.
THINK Community Impact: Second Annual CiC Day of service
Date: 9/1/12
Hundreds of volunteers will re-vitalize local Chicago Public Schools to improve the environment for the students and enable enhanced learning. Volunteers will have the option to either 1) Go directly on site to one of four CPS schools to paint classrooms, organize libraries, or set up classrooms or 2) create arts & crafts to decorate CPS Classrooms at the River East Arts Center.
CPS schools visited include:
- Matthew A Henson Elementary School
- Marcus Moziah Garvey Elementary School
- Lawndale Elementary Community Academy
- Ole A Thorp Elementary Scholastic Academy
Fourth Annual CiC Gala
Date: 9/2/12
The Fourth Annual CiC Gala features an evening of cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, inspirational speakers, dancing and much more! Proceeds raised during the Gala will benefit the CiC beneficiaries. The recipient of the NetIP Foundation Scholarship will be announced at the gala!
Charity is Colorblind began in 2010 when NetIP Chicago launched the first Cancer is Colorblind (CiC) fundraising campaign. This campaign raised awareness and funds for pediatric and adult cancer prevention and treatment, while honoring cancer survivors and fighters who have made an impact in the local community and raised over $100,000,the first and largest grass roots campaign in NetIP history. CiC is now a part of all all 23 chapters and returning to Chicago this year for the 21st Annual NetIP North America Conference.

SUMMARY OF FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES:
As a thank you, participants who fundraise for the community-wide day of service will be provided a free or discounted general admission conference registration/ticket based on the following fundraising thresholds (subject to ticket availability):
Did you already purchase your conference ticket? You still qualify for the fundraising incentive plan! Simply fundraise and once you’ve reached the fundraising levels below, we’ll issue you a REFUND (processed four to six weeks after end of conference).

**Once a fundraiser earns a free conference ticket, for every additional $100 earned, fundraiser will receive a free ticket to a conference optional event.**
